Mondo Robotics is an innovative robotics company developing intelligent autonomous camera robots designed to capture life without requiring a dedicated camera operator. Its first consumer product, Beni, is an all-terrain camera robot that can autonomously follow people and pets while recording smooth, cinematic footage. Mondo Robotics Beni can reach speeds of up to 17.9 mph, navigate around obstacles, jump over obstacles, and automatically recover when tipped over. It captures up to 4K/30fps, 3K/60fps, and 1080p/100fps video using onboard processing and offers Follow, Pilot, and motion-tracking control modes. Beni includes 32GB internal storage, microSD support, and up to 1.5 hours of battery life per battery, with footage and core tracking processed locally for privacy. Mondo Robotics is currently bringing Beni to consumers through its Kickstarter launch, positioning the robot as a unique hands-free filming solution for creators, families, athletes, pet owners, and outdoor enthusiasts.
